SEO Mistakes You Can Make

SEO will tell you that you need to be in the Top 30 or you can pretty much give up any hope of getting a visitor to your web site.

Search engine optimization is a means of increasing traffic to a website. However, when trying out search engine optimization for the first time, there is sure to be some mistakes that will occur. There are quite a number of SEO mistakes, there are some SEO mistakes that both people do.

There are some webmasters who make the mistake of repeating the same keywords unnecessarily on the website. Another name for this practice is spamming, where the keywords are used repeatedly in the title tag, body matter and in the Meta tags. This is done with the intention of artificially increasing their website ranking, but in fact, end up only lowering their website.

Don't use the same title tag on every page of your site. While it may be easy to simply write one title for your homepage and then leave it on every page, this is another place where you're losing out on a place to stick keywords.

Also, actually write your website text yourself. Don't copy and paste text off of one website and put it on yours without making it clear where the text came from. Too much duplicate text on your page will be flagged by search engines
